Introduction
The Round Table in Haverhill - a bunch of enthusiastic chaps who socialise together a couple of times a month, participate in local sporting and leisure events and occasionally put their backs out towards a charitiable cause.
We are part of an international network of Table associations that includes over 1,000 clubs and 13,000 members in the UK alone.
Activities
An event is organised for every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month, none of which are compulsory so you get to pick and choose your own entertainment.
We do our best to keep the costs down and, as a group, can often get better rates for facilities.
There are the usual suspects such as go-karting, bowls, tours around local businesses and maybe a pint or two, but also a number of different activities including flying over the area in a private plane, gliding, hostelry tours on your push-bike, and our annual trip to the Le-Mans 24hrs (under canvas).
There are also combined events with other Tables that include competitive sports, social and community activities.
Membership
So, if you are a young man aged between 18 and 45 and are interested in extending your social scene then the Round Table could be right up your street.
We welcome anyone to come along as a guest to our events, and you'll get a chance to meet the other members and find out more about what we have going on.
